About This Role

Jane Isis is seeking a visionary Senior AI/ML Engineer to spearhead artificial intelligence initiatives for the world’s most influential companies. This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge research and practical business application, where you’ll transform experimental AI capabilities into production systems that generate billions in value.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior AI/ML Engineer at Jane Isis, you’ll architect AI solutions that redefine what’s possible in enterprise technology. One month, you might be implementing a custom LLM for a global bank to automate complex regulatory compliance, processing millions of documents with 99.9% accuracy. The next, you could be developing computer vision systems for a major retailer, enabling real-time inventory optimization across thousands of stores.

You’ll work with massive datasets – think petabytes of financial transactions, millions of medical images, or billions of customer interactions. Your models won’t just be accurate; they’ll be robust, scalable, and interpretable enough to satisfy regulators, auditors, and skeptical executives. You’ll push the boundaries of what’s possible while ensuring every solution is production-ready from day one.

The Technical Challenge

This role demands expertise across the entire AI stack. You’ll optimize transformer architectures for specific business domains, implement distributed training across hundreds of GPUs, and deploy models that serve millions of predictions per second. You’ll tackle challenges like:

  • Building federated learning systems that train on sensitive data without compromising privacy
  • Implementing reinforcement learning for dynamic pricing strategies processing $100M in daily transactions
  • Developing multimodal AI systems that combine vision, language, and structured data for holistic business intelligence
  • Creating explainable AI frameworks that make black-box models transparent for regulatory compliance
  • Architecting real-time ML pipelines that adapt to concept drift in constantly evolving markets

Your Impact

Your work will directly influence how organizations compete in the AI-driven economy. You’ll help healthcare providers detect diseases earlier, enable financial institutions to prevent fraud in real-time, and empower retailers to personalize experiences for millions of customers. Your AI solutions will automate critical decisions, augment human capabilities, and unlock insights hidden in decades of enterprise data.

The Team You’ll Join

You’ll collaborate with an elite team including former research scientists from DeepMind and OpenAI, engineering leaders from FAANG companies, and domain experts from top consulting firms. Our AI practice includes published researchers, Kaggle grandmasters, and engineers who’ve scaled ML systems to billions of users. You’ll also work directly with client CDOs, CTOs, and data science teams, influencing AI strategy at the highest levels.

Research & Innovation

At Jane Isis, we invest in pushing the boundaries of AI. You’ll have dedicated time for research, with opportunities to publish findings, file patents, and speak at conferences. We maintain partnerships with leading AI labs and universities, giving you access to pre-release models, experimental hardware, and collaborative research opportunities. Recent team innovations include novel architectures for time-series forecasting, breakthrough techniques in few-shot learning, and pioneering work in AI safety and alignment.

Growth Trajectory

This role offers exceptional career growth. Senior AI/ML Engineers typically advance to AI Practice Lead, Chief AI Architect, or Partner-track positions within 2-3 years. You’ll have direct exposure to C-suite executives and board members, positioning you as a thought leader in enterprise AI. Many of our senior engineers have gone on to become CTOs, founded AI startups, or joined elite research labs.

Why Jane Isis?

We’re not just implementing AI – we’re defining how enterprises will compete in the age of artificial intelligence. Our clients trust us with their most critical AI initiatives because we combine cutting-edge technical expertise with deep business acumen. If you want to work on AI systems that reshape industries, influence billions in business decisions, and push the boundaries of what’s possible with machine learning, this is your opportunity.
