Jane Isis seeks a Senior Cloud Specialist to lead transformative cloud initiatives. You’ll architect the cloud foundations that power digital transformation, enabling our clients to compete and win in the cloud-first economy.

What You’ll Do

As a Senior Cloud Specialist at Jane Isis, you’ll tackle the most complex cloud challenges facing modern enterprises. You might spend one quarter migrating a global bank’s trading platform to AWS, handling millions of transactions per second with zero downtime. The next, you could be architecting a multi-cloud strategy for a pharmaceutical company, balancing workloads across Azure, GCP, and on-premises data centers while maintaining HIPAA compliance and supporting drug discovery workloads requiring massive computational power.

Your projects will span the full spectrum of cloud computing:

• Large-Scale Migrations: Lead “lift and shift” of 5,000+ applications, replatforming legacy systems, and refactoring monoliths into cloud-native architectures
• Cost Optimization: Reduce cloud spend by millions through reserved instances, spot fleet optimization, and architectural improvements
• Hybrid Architectures: Design solutions that seamlessly integrate on-premises infrastructure with multiple public clouds
• Edge Computing: Deploy distributed cloud solutions supporting IoT devices, retail locations, and manufacturing facilities
• Disaster Recovery: Architect global failover strategies for systems that can’t afford even seconds of downtime

The Technical Excellence We Demand

This role requires mastery across the entire cloud ecosystem. You’ll work with:

• Compute at Scale: Orchestrating thousands of containers, managing serverless functions processing billions of events, and optimizing VM fleets across regions
• Data Platforms: Building data lakes storing petabytes, real-time streaming pipelines, and analytics platforms supporting thousands of concurrent users
• Networking: Designing global network architectures with sub-millisecond latency, implementing zero-trust security models, and managing complex hybrid connectivity
• Automation: Creating IaC templates that deploy entire environments in minutes, building CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, and implementing GitOps workflows
• Security & Compliance: Implementing defense-in-depth strategies, managing encryption at rest and in transit, and ensuring compliance with regulations across multiple jurisdictions
